Substance Abuse Treatment
My approach to substance abuse treatment addresses the full spectrum of underlying issues and co-occurring disorders that fuel addiction. I have received specialized training to help clients learn to identify and manage the underlying difficulties that have the driving force in their drug and alcohol use such as trauma, low self-esteem, mental health conditions, and challenging relationships. Clients can expect to learn learn healthier coping skills to replace destructive behaviors. Treatment is individualized, taking into account each client's preferences, issues and background so that their experience is both relevant and meaningful. My focus is on making changes in the way one lives, faces problems and relates to others to build a foundation for long-term abstinence and sobriety.
