Religious & Spiritual Trauma Support Group

Healing the wounds that faith was never meant to cause.

For many, religion and spirituality can be a source of comfort and community. But for others, these experiences can also bring deep wounds and feelings of fear, shame, confusion, and betrayal. Religious or spiritual trauma can leave lasting impacts on your sense of self, your relationships, and even your ability to trust your own voice.

This group provides a safe, nonjudgmental space to process those experiences, reclaim your personal truth, and begin building a healthier connection to yourself and your spirituality on your own terms.

  • Those struggling with guilt, shame, fear, or identity confusion tied to their faith background.
  • People navigating the loss of a spiritual community or family relationships because of differing beliefs.
  • Anyone seeking to redefine their relationship with a higher power and experience spirituality in a healthy, authentic way.

What You Can Expect

  • A safe and validating environment to share your story without judgment or pressure.
  • Guided discussions on topics such as boundaries, reclaiming identity, and healing from spiritual abuse.
  • Practical tools for coping with triggers, rebuilding trust, and nurturing self-compassion.
