FAQs

How do I get started?
Simply fill out our Contact Form, send us a text or email, or give us a call. We’ll reach out within 24 hours with information about our practice, availability, fees, approach to therapy, etc. Then if it sounds like a good fit, we can get you scheduled with the therapist that best fits your needs.

The first session is a time for you and your therapist to get to know each other and for your therapist to understand what’s bringing you in, and how you want things to be different when you are done with therapy. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, share at your own pace, and begin building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust and safety.

We work with individuals (adults, teens, and children), couples, and families. We also offer coaching, intensives, supervision for pre-licensed therapists, and professional consultation.

Yes! Most of our clinicians offer secure telehealth sessions in addition to in-person sessions.
To protect the confidentiality of our clients, we do not take any insurance. However, we are happy to provide superbill, detailed receipts that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits. We are happy to assist with this process if needed.
Session rates vary based on the clinician’s licensure status, qualifications, experience, and services provided. When we reach out, we will give you an idea of the cost based on the service you are looking for.

We offer an income based sliding scale with interns and pre-licensed clinicians when available. If affordability is a concern, please let us know and we will do our best to help. In the event that we can’t, we will provide you with a referral.

Yes. Everything you share in therapy is confidential, with a few exceptions required by law (such as concerns involving child abuse, threats of harm to self or others, or court orders). Your privacy and trust are our top priorities. All limits to confidentiality are outlined in detail in our practice policies.

Of course! Many people feel unsure at first. We offer brief 10–15-minute phone consultations so you can ask questions and explore whether therapy might be helpful for your unique situation, no pressure, no commitment.

Please know that this consultation is not a therapy session and not the time to begin sharing your full story. We want to make sure your story gets the time, space, and attention it truly deserves, and we don’t want to risk missing important details in a short phone call.

If you decide to move forward, your intake session will be the appropriate place to begin exploring your experiences in depth with your therapist.

Therapy is a personal journey and varies for each individual. Some clients attend for a few months to work through specific challenges; others engage in longer-term work to support deeper healing and growth. You and your therapist will collaborate on what works best for your goals.
Our practice is trauma-informed and attachment-focused. Our therapists integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches including EMDR, IFS, DBT, CBT, EFT, Experiential (Psychodrama, sand tray, art, etc.) somatic therapy, mindfulness, play therapy, and more. We tailor our approach to your unique needs.
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, we will always try to fill your spot. In the event that we are unable to fill your spot, you will be charged the full session fee since that time has been blocked off for you.

Some of our therapists offer evening availability and weekend. We do our best to accommodate busy schedules, let us know what you need when you reach out so we can place you with a therapist that has availability that meets your needs.

We’re here to help you take that next step toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
